Overview of MMPI

This is a personality inventory developed by the University of Minnesota psychologist Hathaway and psychiatrist McKinley since the late 1930s. Today, it is rarely used for this purpose and is an assessment tool for gaining clinical personality characteristics and interventions.
It consists of 550 items, and answers “applicable” or “not applicable” regarding mental and physical health, family, education, sex, society, etc.
